  • Wednesday, March 11, 2020

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced that its strategic management plan draft for wild turkeys is ready for public review and comment.

The plan draft is available for viewing on the TWRA website at www.tnwildlife.org.

Public comments may be submitted through April 8 through the website.

The draft is the culmination of a comprehensive effort to develop a five-year strategic plan for the management of wild turkeys in the state. The strategic plan describes a vision for the direction of TWRA’s Wild Turkey Program, including goals and a range of strategies to meet those goals. The plan outlines the objectives and steps TWRA, with its partners, will take to ensure wild turkeys are managed appropriately.
